The reveal of the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog gets me giddy with anticipation every year. Want to know the first thing I look for? The new colors! What about you???

Color is the foundation of the creative process. Well, this year there’s a whopping 21 new Stampin Up colors being added! That’s a LOT of creative possibilities. 15 are brand new and never-before-seen. The remaining 6 are returning favorites from the past. Numbers aside, let’s just say there’s something to please everyone!:)

Ten New Colors

Of the 21 total colors being added, these ten are brand new! They’ll each be part of one of the four major Color Collections: Brights, Neutrals, Regals or Subtles.

Six Popular In-Colors Returning

In addition to the above 10 new colors are 6 returning colors from past In-Color Collections. They’ll now be sticking around as part of the four major Color Collections. So happy to see these returning favorites!

ReVamped Color Collections

So that brings us to the four new major Color Collections… ta-da! 13 current colors are being retired (see them HERE) and 16 colors have been added. That’s three more colors than we currently have! You’ll also find a few colors moved into different groups, so it really is a major color re-vamp!

Re-Vamped Stampin’ Up! Color Collections starting June 1, 2018

You’ll notice the Neutrals collection is missing a few basics, as well as includes colors that may seem out of place. After considerable research, SU! discovered colors like Night of Navy, Merry Merlot and Mossy Meadow were being used like neutrals in the creative process. So that’s where you’ll find them! And for those missing basics…

New BASICS Collection

Added to the lineup is a new Basics Collection that contains Basic Black, Whisper White and Very Vanilla.

In-Color Collections

The In-Color Collections remain with the annual introduction of 5 colors that stick around for two years. These supplement the four major Color Collections and include the latest color trends.
