It’s Treat Week: Quick & Easy Treat Holders-DIY Easter Basket
It’s Treat Week! Video Tutorial #3
DIY Easter Basket
I hope you’ve enjoyed the treat holders I’ve shared this week! I’ve had fun making them… and taste-testing the sweets meant to go in them! The sacrifices I’m willing to make…. (lol)
If you missed Monday’s video on treat bags, you’ll want to see it HERE. If you missed Wednesday’s video on treat pouches, see it HERE.
Today I share this little DIY Easter Basket made with the Envelope Punch Board (that makes so much more than envelopes). This design is an oldie, but, a goodie that’s worth revisiting as it’s adjustable- allowing you to achieve several different looks (as shown here- with a bonus fourth at the end of this post!).
Quick & Easy
Pick your fave Designer Paper, ribbon and adhesive- and you’re set. Make four from one sheet of 12″ x 12″ paper, or use the 6″ x 6″ Designer Papers as-is and they’ll be done in minutes! Quick, easy, inexpensive and versatile… they’re not just for Easter! Think party, wedding or shower favors, too!
Today’s basket features one of my favorite Specialty Designer Series Papers (SDSP) in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog. If you like it as much as I do, it’s worth stocking up on!
FOIL FRENZY Specialty Designer Series Paper
Sale-A-Bration ends soon! Don’t miss out on all the wonderful rewards you can earn for FREE with every $50 of Stampin’ Up! goodies purchased through my online store by March 31st, 2018.
With 30 things to choose from, the hard part is picking! But there’s no limit- so the more you spend, the more freebies you earn! Problem solved 🙂 See all the SALE-A-BRATION choices HERE.
BONUS- Basket Into Box
I kept playing after the video and created this little box using the same design with the Sale-A-Bration Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Paper. GORGEOUS in four patterns of silver, gold and rose-gold foil! {NOTE: All the box needed to close was a little clip off the tips of the top flaps (disregard punching out a handle with the circle punch).}
Stampin’ Write Markers in Pool Party & Soft Sky (flowers) and Pear Pizzazz & Old Olive (leaves) provided the color. The glossy surface allows you to blend the colors and achieve an effect very similar to the Stampin’ Blend markers (which are almost completely sold out right now). A little Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon accent and it’s ready to give. Have I mentioned this design is versatile??? 🙂
Recipe
- 6″ x 6″ square of Designer Series Paper or cardstock
- Punch and score the first side at 1-3/8″ and then at 4″
- Rotate the paper and punch and score at each existing score line until all three remaining sides are done
- Cut, punch & assemble per video tutorial

Happy Stampin’!

What a fun idea! The beautiful paper makes it so festive!
Such a versatile way to give treats or small gifts! 🙂
