3 Beautiful Card Ideas for the Peace On Earth Bundle

Hi crafty friends! In this week’s tutorial, learn how to make three gorgeous cards – for three different occasions- using the PEACE ON EARTH Stamp & Die Bundle. It’s part of the fabulous new Peaceful Garden Suite Collection by Stampin’ Up!® -now available as part of the new fall & holiday release.

Follow the step-by-step instructions and savvy tips to make these simply beautiful cards with minimal supplies!

TUTORIAL – CARD #1 Encouragement

Cut & Prep (Measurements width x length)

• A2 CARD BASE: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ [1/2 sheet Basic White Thick Cardstock]
  • Score on long side side at 4-1/4″
• DOVES: With the Peace On Earth Dies on the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (or similar), cut 8-10 doves (mix of both) and 1 envelope from the other half-sheet of cardstock. [Basic White Thick Cardstock]
  • Cut both doves at one time, then repeat until you have enough… it goes very fast!
    • Savvy Tips: Adhere an Adhesive Sheet to the back of the cardstock before die-cutting and the doves will become stickers… simply peel and stick in place!
    • I prefer using the THICK version of Basic White Cardstock for all elements of this card, as it gives you greater dimension! If you have (layer weight) Basic White Cardstock, double-stack the doves to achieve the same effect.
• SENTIMENT LABELS: With the Peace On Earth Dies, cut one from each label [Basic White Thick Cardstock]

PHOTO 2 – Arrange doves on card front

ASSEMBLY

• Before removing the Adhesive Sheet paper backing, temporarily position doves on card front until you’re happy with arrangement (SEE PHOTO 2 ABOVE)
  • When arrangement is complete, remove paper backing one dove at a time and adhere in place. Trim excess with scissors.
• Stamp sentiment on smaller label die; layer on top of larger label die. Adhere in center of card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add top dove and envelope.
• Embellish doves with Clear Wink of Stella Shimmer… done!

PHOTO 3 – Close up of Wink of Stella Clear Shimmer on doves (it’s sooo hard to capture the beauty of this shimmer on camera, but trust me….it makes all the difference!)

CARD #2 – Sympathy

Step it up with metallic accents and monochromatic color!

PHOTO 4 – Sympathy Card. Instead of white cardstock, I used Cloud Cover Cardstock and the Flower Garden Foils [in Cloud Cover] for the larger sentiment label and top dove. Embellish with 10″ of Cloud Cover 3/8″ Faux-Linen Ribbon, folded in half. Stamp sentiment with Versamark Ink, sprinkle with Silver Embossing Powder and melt with Heat Tool on high.

CARD #3 – Holidays

A simple sentiment swap is all it takes to create this beautiful card for Christmas or Hanukkah.

PHOTO 5 – Holiday Card. Use only the large sentiment label and change the orientation to portrait. Instead of the dove carrying the envelope, die-cut one small leaflet.
