Put the Countryside Corners Dies to creative use making this adorable treat holder designed to look like a handbag, tote… or even a tool bag with a simple theme change!

Psst! If you missed any of the others Countryside Corners projects, don’t miss the recap at the end!

For ease of use, I’ve numbered the Countryside Corners Dies starting with the smallest in the layering set as 1 and working up in size to 6 as largest (banner die is 7)…  this reference chart will help you as you follow the step-by-step directions below!

Step 1: The Bag

  • THE BAG: With Countryside Corners die 6 (largest layering die), die-cut one piece of cardstock [Misty Moonlight] on Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. On Paper Trimmer score on long side 2-1/4″ from each end, leaving 1/2″ in center (this is the width of the bag). Burnish folds toward center with Bone Folder to form an upright U.
Step 2

  • HANDLES/STRAPS OF BAG: With Countryside Corners Die 2 centered inside Die 3, die-cut one piece coordinating cardstock [Night of Navy]. On long side on Paper Trimmer cut in half (doesn’t need to be exact). Facing forward, adhere one piece to inside of bag on each side; embellish front with two Brushed Metallic Dots (see top photo)

  • FRONT POCKET: With Countryside Corners Die 3 die-cut one piece (1-1/2″ high) of coordinating designer paper [Countryside Inn] or cardstock; place adhesive on sides and bottom only and adhere to front of bag.
  • SIDE PANELS OF BAG: With Countryside Corners die 2, die-cut one piece from same cardstock used to make bag [Misty Moonlight]. On Paper Trimmer cut on long side in half (doesn’t need to be exact); score each piece twice- 1/2″ apart in center. Burnish folds toward center to form a U; turn and adhere each piece to the inside of the bag on both sides (this keeps the treat from slipping out the sides).
