What better for this fourth of July holiday than a card reminiscent of relaxing on the beach. Not exactly what you’d relate with stained glass, so I hope this Graceful Glass Vellum card idea inspires you to see the range of possibilities with this fun Specialty Designer Series Paper!

This Graceful Glass Vellum card idea was inspired by a project in the 2018-2019 Catalog (page 161). The pattern on the vellum reminded me of waves, so I thought, let’s give it a go and substitute it for the scallops! What do you think??? Can you see the sun reflected off the waves and feel the sand between your toes???

• Stampin’ Blends Markers (Light Night of Navy and Bermuda Bay combo) provide the sea colors on the Graceful Glass Vellum. Adhere to the card front with Multi-Purpose Glue dabbed on with a Stampin’ Sponge.
• Rip a strip of Tranquil Textures DSP  to create the sand. Add a little interest with the spotted stamp from the Waterfront set and Crumb Cake Classic Stampin’ Pad. 
• Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies cut on your Big Shot machine from the Wood Textures DSP create the Adirondack chair
• Nature’s Twine in Crumb Cake, tied with a few knots, makes the rope (it’s adhered with Glue Dots)
• The sentiment is from Another Wonderful Year, stamped with Blueberry Bushel Classic Stampin’ Pad
• The A2 card base is Balmy Blue Cardstock.
• The starfish is from the April 2018 Paper Pumpkin kit. (I’m loving these STORAGE TIPS & FREE RESOURCES!)
