FAQ

What is a mini slimline card? It’s a smaller version of the popular slimline card style… tall and slender, but more compact than a standard slimline (which is usually 3-1/2″ x 8-1/2″).

Why are mini slimline cards popular? They’re cute, quick to make, use less cardstock, and give a fresh layout option for stamping and die-cutting. The layout can be used both vertically and horizontally.

Do I need special paper crafting supplies? No! Almost all paper crafting products can be adapted to mini slimline cards.

What’s the best envelope to use for mini slimline card sizes? Choose from #7 Coin, which opens on the narrow end or #6-3/4 business, which opens on the long side, like a traditional envelope. Pick your favorite and size your card to what you have!

What if I don’t have an envelope to fit? Make your own with coordinating paper! (The 3-In-1 Punch Board found in my Favorite Amazon Finds makes it super easy!)

Is additional postage required to mail a mini slimline card? No! As long as the envelope is a minimum of 3-1/2″ wide, standard postage applies with the United States Postal Service! (thickness limitations still apply)
