Merry Christmas Eve, crafty friends!
After the busyness of holiday crafting has passed, it’s nice to keep things simple—and that’s exactly why these quick & easy thank you cards made with embossing folders are a personal favorite I return to each year.

With instant texture and no complicated design decisions, embossing folders let you create beautiful note cards in minutes- with supplies you likely already have!

Enjoy lots of ideas using retired embossing folders from the past (click on photos above and below for details).

SAVVY TIPS
- Gather These 3 Items:
- Note Cards & Envelopes
- They’re a big part of the quick & easy: pre-cut & scored cards with envelopes that produce beautiful results!
- Favorite Embossing Folder
- Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (or any similar)
- Note Cards & Envelopes
- Embossed Card (see Photo 4 below): Open card and place inside folder, with fold at the edge of the pattern… this is typically just inside the edge of the folder- NOT the folder itself. Center the pattern, if applicable, and roll through your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the correct sandwich…
- 3D & Hybrid Folders: Base 1 + Folder + Plate 4
- Standard Folders: Base 1 + Plate 3 + Folder + Plate 3
- Create an enhanced, crisper image by lightly spritzing the both sides of the card front with rubbing [isopropyl] alcohol (my preference) or water to soften the paper fibers before embossing.
- Embossed Envelope (see Photo 5 second below): Create a matching set by embossing the flap of the envelope, too!
- Stamping and embellishments are optional… you choose!

Have fun exploring the possibilities as you make these Quick & Easy Thank You Cards!
