Stamping With Baby Wipes- Part 3

Hold On To Hope Birthday Card in Peekaboo Peach from the In Color Collection 2016-18
It’s always fun to see how different a card can look just by changing up the colors. For these cards, I used Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum and Flirty Flamingo inks, creating the card layers the same way as in Monday’s video.
Color Collections Explained
If you’re not familiar with Stampin’ Up!’s colors, let me share how they work. Stampin’ Up! features 4 major color collections of ten colors each:
- Brights (bright versions of all colors)
- Regals ( jewel tones…)
- Subtles (pastels…)
- Neutrals (browns and blacks)
In addition to these, they introduce 5 new colors each year called the “In-Colors“. These are on-trend colors to supplement the major collections. They’re designed to play well with each other, as well as with other colors in the major collections and they retire after only two years on the job! (That’s my kind of work schedule!)
In Color Collection 2016-2018
This means the In Color Collection 2016-2018 is nearing the end of it’s work life. Soon to retire and relax on the beach somewhere, EVERYTHING in these colors will retire on May 31, 2018. Ink pads, ink refills, markers, cardstock, ribbon, baker’s twine and embellishments…. everything!
If you adore any of these sweet colors, I encourage you to stock up NOW. We’ll be seeing stock start to disappear and once they’re retired, they are GONE. No longer available. History. Pleeeeeeeease, don’t wait and miss out!
