Toile Christmas + Peaceful Boughs = Beautiful Winter Card!

PERFECT PAIR! If you’re looking for new inspiration for two returning favorites introduced last year, pair Toile Christmas with Peaceful Boughs for a beautiful winter card that’s not just for the holidays.

TOILE CHRISTMAS

NO-LINE COLORING: Stamp the bird on Thick Whisper White C/S with any light-colored ink (such as Sahara Sand Classic Stampin’ Pad), then color with Stampin’ Blends Markers of choice (I used Real Red & Cherry Cobbler Combo Packs with the Color Lifter). Die-cut with the coordinating Christmas Cardinal Die or trim with Paper Snips for a no-border option.

ADD DETAILS: If it needs a little more detail, use the fine-tip end of a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to add back in areas of the stamped image, like the beak and eyes.

PEACEFUL BOUGHS

LAYERED COLOR! Create a lush evergreen spray for your cardinal with the Beautiful Boughs Dies (right) and Pear Pizazz, Old Olive & Mossy Meadow Cardstock.

Layer the pinecone dies with Early Espresso and Soft Suede Cardstock (or stamp and die-cut).

Stamp the sentiment from Peaceful Boughs (above left) on Thick Whisper White Cardstock with a Misty Moonlight Classic Stampin’ Pad and die-cut with the Beautiful Boughs Die; adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

BIRTHDAY OPTION: Substitute a birthday greeting for the perfect winter birthday card! Use the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder for a great masculine alternative.
