BEE MY VALENTINE Mini Pop-Up Cards!

Today’s project is an oh, so fun mini pop-up card that’s a CASE [Acronym for Copy And Share Everything] of a popular project from a couple years ago {SEE IT HERE – includes a free video tutorial with savvy tips on the usefulness of a handy kitchen item! :}

CARD 1

It’s got to bee a blue bee and yellow plaid pattern for our littlest grandson!

SAVVY TIP!
I stamped the black bee stripes on Pool Party Cardstock, but if you don’t have this, you could also stamp Pool Party Classic Ink on Basic White Cardstock with the ‘body’ stamp in the set or color white cardstock with Stampin’ Blends Markers before stamping the stripes. These are both savvy ways to get even more value from your supplies!

Here’s a peek at the completed card front (above) and the inside when opened (below)…. isn’t that ADORABLE?!!

The card POPS OPEN to reveal the adorable bee pattern and cute messages inside!

I chose this ‘sweet’ pattern of Petal Pink and Poppy Parade for our middle grand-daughter!

CARD TUTORIAL

CUT & PREP…

• BEE MINE Designer Series Paper: 6″ x 6″
  • Score at 3″ in both directions (to form a cross); flip paper over and score on the diagonal ONE TIME (not both)
  • Fold ‘cross’ folds in same direction; fold diagonal fold in the opposite direction
  • SEE THIS VIDEO for how to score and fold (starts at 3:07)
• Coordinating Cardstock [Card 3-Daffodil Delight; Card 2 & 3-Sweet Sorbet]
  • Die-cut 2-1/2″ circle with EVERYDAY DETAILS Dies (NEW all-purpose FAVE!)
  • BEE: Stamp & cut with BEE BUILDER PUNCH
    • Body- BEE MINE DSP scrap
    • Wings- Sweet Sorbet
• Basic White Cardstock (2) 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ squares for inside sentiment panels

STAMP & ASSEMBLE…

• Decide which panel will be your card front; stamp greeting along edge on all four sides
• Stamp greetings (and images) on inside panels and 3″ x 3″ Envelope
• Adhere circle to card front; assemble bee and adhere to circle. Embellish corners with Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers
• Adhere inside panels… done!
