Color Your Season- LAST CHANCE!

The new Country Home stamp set creates today’s charming country card, reminiscent of a window box full of foliage outside a rustic cabin… complete with yellow curtains! Can you picture it???

Project Details

Crumb Cake Cardstock A2 card base
The large Stitched Seasons Framelits Die was used to create the shadow profile on the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, with the (Crushed Curry) Country Lane Designer Series Paper peeking from behind the main (flower) panel.
The flowers were stamped on Crumb Cake Cardstock with an Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad, then colored with the Limited Edition Watercolor Pencils Assortment #2 and blended with a Blender Pen. The bright white on the cotton was from a Uniball Signo White Gel Pen. For a lighter white, use the white watercolor pencil from the Watercolor Pencils pack in the Annual Catalog. It was die-cut on the Big Shot machine with the medium size Stitched Seasons Framelits Die.
The trim is Nature’s Twine in Crumb Cake, separated and then adhered to the card. The bow was tied separately and attached with a Glue Dot.
The window box was die cut from the Wood Textures DSP with the medium Stitched Season Framelits Die and cut in half (horizontally) on the Stampin’ Trimmer. I applied Early Espresso Ink on all the edges with a Sponge Dauber and then adhered them back in place next to each other; it gives the illusion of planks of wood! (Note: In the photo you’ll see it looks like three boards form the box. The bottom line and nails were part of the Designer Paper pattern; adjust your cuts to the desired end effect.)
The THANKS sentiment and tag were stamped on Crumb Cake Cardstock with an Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad, cut by hand and adhered with two Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. There’s several sentiments in the Country Home stamp set that fit this tag, so you can pick and choose according to the occasion!

SAVVY TIP

Dimensional glossy accents are easy with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen! Puddle the area with glue, then set aside to dry. Want more dimension? Repeat! Easy-peasy

Storage Tip: The tip is very narrow and the glue dries quickly, so cap immediately after using. Make sure the wire insert in the lid is inside the tip and store upside down. No clogs!
