Diagonal Slash Card Tutorial with Needlepoint Nook
Hi friends- Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing a new Card Sketch Blueprint and tutorial for making this fun and easy diagonal slash card. It reminds me of cutting fabric on the bias, so the Needlepoint Nook Suite seemed perfect. It’s on the LAST CHANCE LIST, so you’ll want to grab this Designer Paper and stamp/die bundle pronto!
NEEDLEPOINT NOOK SUITE
This suite has been one of my favorites in the spring Occasions Catalog, but it’s almost time to say goodbye. Want to create beautiful projects like today’s card or those above? Grab these products for a coordinated ensemble ready for your creative touch!

- Needlepoint Nook Cardstock Pack (24 sheets of 8 each Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride & Old Olive to color match DSP)
- Old Olive Linen Thread (fine enough to fit through the buttons below- the perfect color-matched embellishment)
- Needlepoint Nook Mini Buttons (24 pearlescent buttons of 8 each Petal Pink, Sahara Sand & Very Vanilla) Grab some Mini Glue Dots to make these easy-peasy to adhere!

I hope you had a wonderful Easter… or Resurrection Day as I call it! My parents arrived and we had a sweet time catching up and enjoying being together! Our grands were on Spring Break from school last week, so we got to enjoy time with them as well. We had a sleepover and re-watched the Sound of Music (for the 357th time), ate popcorn and jelly-beans (a rare sugar treat) and just had FUN. Family is such a wonderful blessing!
Enjoy this week’s Card Sketch and Diagonal Slash Card Tutorial… there’s more card ideas coming later this week and in next week’s newsletter! Check out the Needlepoint Nook Suite while you can- it’s wonderful!
