Embossed Thank You Card With Important News Coming at Noon

Embossed Thank You Card

Happy Monday! Today’s a special day with 2 posts! This is my normal project post I already had planned for you, but you’re going to want to come back at noon for the HUGE News Flash on Retiring Stampin’ Up! colors! No need to remember for my subscribers… you’ll get it emailed! Until then…

Spring is in the air… at least here in southern California. The birds are singing. The flowers are blooming. And regardless of the weather where you’re at, this colorful thank you card will bring a little sunshine to your craft area.

Featuring the Flying Home stamp set, if you love coloring like I do, the adorable feathered friends in these stamps should be on your wish list. Three adorable scenes with little butterfly and bee accents… they’re so cute!stampin' up! flying home stamp set

SKETCH CARD #3

Does this design look familiar? Yep, same blueprint as last week’s cards. When I said it was a fave, I really meant it. After making last week’s children’s cards, I decided to keep playing… I was on a roll!  You can do the same! Mix up the colors, paper and stamps and build up your stash of cards with this one design.

If you missed the other cards from last week, find the girls mermaid card HERE and the boys dragon card HERE (with blueprint) for comparison. I’ve still got one more I’ll share later in the week.

COLOR INSPIRATION

Like orange sherbet? Then you’ll love Peekaboo Peach. For art. Not to eat. LOL Paired with Night of Navy, it’s a modern twist on the classic navy and yellow. And with lots of white, the flowers and bird can be any other colors you want.

EMBOSSED TEXTURE

Want a quick way to add an accent of texture to a card? The Petal Pair (there’s 2) Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (TIEF) are ideal to direct the eye to a focal point, like the circle of flowers on this card. It’s also just the right size to emboss your envelope flap. Small, quick and easy!
