Hello and thanks for visiting! You are going to love today’s card project for it’s simplicity and shimmery beauty! You’ve heard me say how much I love Designer Series Paper for doing the creative “work” for us… and today’s Frosted Floral DSP ( a Specialty Designer Series Paper) proves it true, once again.

Whew! Now to today’s project….
Frosted Floral DSP
This paper is G.O.R.G.E.O.U.S. So much so, it sold out before it even became available to customers (no worries, it’s back in stock now). Yep, Demonstrators like myself gobbled it up like a Thanksgiving turkey. Every last bit! It’s been said that it’s the best Designer Series Paper Stampin’ Up! has ever made. WOW!
It’s hard to describe, but this is shimmer paper. Not just in select spots (like the pearlized areas on the Share What You Love DSP), but the entire thing. Every page- both front and back! It even feels different than anything we’ve had before, softly textured, shimmery and scrummy!
The 12″ x 12″ size and medium-weight is perfect for tons of cards or 3-D projects. You get 12 sheets to a package: 2 each of 6 double-sided designs. The 12 different patterns include a mix of large, medium and small, all designed to coordinate – like you see in today’s cards. And best yet, it’s perfect for year ’round use!
It features a whopping 13 colors (which makes it ultra-versatile!): Blackberry Bliss, Blushing Bride, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Night of Navy, Pear Pizzazz, Pineapple Punch, Powder Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Soft Suede and Tranquil Tide.
While not shown today, there’s also a coordinating Frosted Floral 24-sheet Cardstock Pack with 8 sheets each of Blackberry Bliss, Gray Granite and Tranquil Tide.

Project Tutorial
Whisper White Note Cards and Envelopes are used for the base (quick and easy), Frosted Floral DSP for the background and accents, a scrap of Soft Sea Foam Cardstock (from the Subtles Color Collection) for the sentiment piece that’s trimmed with the Triple Banner Punch and (first project) a piece of the Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack in Very Vanilla/Copper and (second project) a piece of Whisper White Baker’s Twine.
The sentiment and sprig of Whisper White berries are created with the First Frost Bundle that includes the First Frost Classic Rubber Stamp Set and coordinating Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies. These are all part of the Frosted Floral Suite of products seen HERE or on page 36-37 of the Holiday 2018 Catalog.

This paper is everything! The card is made by the beautiful flowers without being too busy. The paper pack overall is stunning!
