Kids Valentine Idea – HEY LOVE Stamp Set
Hi stampin’ friends! Today’s project is sooo fun and simple even a kid can do it- and that’s part of the plan! Kids LOVE stamping as much as we adults do- and the opportunity to make their own creations: precious! Add some new Crayons, mini-colored pencils or markers and their friends have the fun of coloring their own Valentine❤
You only need three Stampin’ Up! items to make these Valentine’s Cards: Narrow Note Cards (20/pkg), Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad and the new HEY LOVE Cling Stamp Set (above). {You’ll also need a Clear Block to hold the stamps} Add your own Exacto Knife (or sharp scissors) and these cute non-candy Valentines can be completed within a couple hours (in my experience, signing their names inside takes the longest!:)
Have your child stamp the front of the Narrow Note Card with any of the adorable critters and sentiments. With help, kiddos as young as two can master stamping (my three year old grandson is practically a pro-lol). They don’t have the perfection hang-ups some of us have (ahem)- they just have FUN! Life lesson?
Your part is to cut two slices on the inside with an Exacto Knife (or sharp scissors, held open). This holds the Crayons, Colored Pencils or Markers in place. How many per card is up to you, simply adjust the slits to fit what you’re giving- it’s that easy! Now you’ve got a handmade treat to give that’s sweet and fun- without any sugar! {Their teacher will thank you!!!}
