More MOSAIC MOOD Cards To Make & Give!
More MOSAIC MOOD Cards To Make & Give!Happy Wednesday, friends! I’m back today to share three more MOSAIC MOOD cards that were part of the gift set I made for my best friend recently. Every year for her birthday, I create a set of cards that she can use for special occasions throughout the year. These were a huge hit- she LOVED them -and so will your own friends and family. They’re not only fun and easy to make, each card is like a mini work of mosaic art!
MOSAIC MOOD Specialty Designer Series Paper
OH, MY! There is so much you can do with this beautifully textured paper! From the quick and simple panels in Monday’s 3 MADE IN MINUTES cards, to today’s floral cards- the paper ‘makes’ the cards!
See also how great it looks as a background on this get-well card for a customer who broke her *left* wrist recently (hi, Helen!)… you’ll see why I note that when you click over!?
The Mosaic Mood S-DSP coordinates with these Stampin’ Up!® Colors: Blushing Bride, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Mint Macaron, Soft Suede, Terracotta Tile, Very Vanilla and Whisper White
CARD DETAILS
NOTE: The products in red are retiring. Grab them off the LAST CHANCE PRODUCTS list now!
The basic design starts with a Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock A2 card base [8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored & folded @ 4-1/4″], with a 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ layer of Very Vanilla Cardstock (regular, not thick) embossed with the MOSAIC 3D Embossing Folder using the 3D Embossing Folder Plate on your die-cutting machine. Glue to card front.
Next die-cut a panel of Terracotta Tile Cardstock with the largest stitched scallop rectangle die from the STITCHED SO SWEETLY DIES. For the top and bottom cards, I also cut Very Vanilla Cardstock panels using the second-smallest die from the same set.
Now take the sheet of MOSAIC MOOD DSP with the roses all over it (in the photo above it’s the page second from the right) and and cut all the flowers with your Paper Snips . It’s not too fussy and goes pretty fast. What you’ll end up with is a pile of various size roses in different groupings, along with some extra leaves and a handful of butterflies… enough for several cards.
Finally, stamp the sentiment of your choice with a color-matched Terracotta Tile Classic Stampin’ Pad and assemble… so easy! {Tips for heat embossing the center card are below}
SENTIMENTS (+ wooHOO News!)
The “Thinking of You” sentiment on the top card is found in retired LITTLE LADYBUG?
{Psst: If you missed out on this adorable set from earlier this year, you’ll have a chance to win not only the stamps-but dies, too! I squirreled several away to give in May (plus a few other goodies) and just can’t keep it a secret any longer; I’m giddy with anticipation to bless you!}
“Happy Mother’s Day” is found in TEA TOGETHER.
To heat emboss: Rub cardstock with Embossing Buddy, stamp with Versamark Ink, sprinkle with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and melt with the Heat Tool.
“Best Wishes on your Joyful Day” is found in PATH OF PETALS.
All total -seven MOSAIC MOOD cards to inspire your own creativity!

Now, let me ask, who will YOU be making these MOSAIC MOOD cards for? Do let me know!❤️
I am late to the party on this bundle. Turns out I LOVE it. Bought it a couple months ago and have enjoyed fussy cutting pieces and adding them to scrapbook pages and cards. Your layout is perfect.
I love this beautiful card, Tammy. I agree with Sonny about being timid on cutting into this beautiful paper. Your reply to her is something I need to remember…cut and bless someone else. That will make it easier. Enjoy your day!
Pretty card ! I love this paper and get a little scissor shy when I get ready to fussy cut because I feel like I am cutting into a piece of art or some special paper that was designed to look at ,but do not touch !! Smile !
Thanks for the inspiration !
Hi Sonny! I know what you mean… but, it’s worth it! CUT IT UP!
Then your card becomes a mini work of mosaic art that blesses someone else… you can do it!
So happy to hear from you- hope all’s well with you & yours❤
