Sweet Card made with 3 FREE Sale-A-Bration Stamp Sets!
There’s a whole lot of sweet going on in this card! I challenged myself to use some of the colors I’d been neglecting, like Sweet Sugarplum, Wisteria Wonder, Perfect Plum and Wild Wasabi. Add the LOTS OF LAVENDER stamp set from the new Sale-A-Bration (SAB in Stampin’ Up! lingo) catalog and this card was born.
I was in the mood to color, so a blender pen and ink were my choice, instead of using the stamp set. That would be easy-peasy and quick… so you’ve got options! Good, right?! For the background, I used two other FREE SAB sets: HEARTFELT BLOOMS (sentiment) and BEAUTIFUL PEACOCK (flower) stamped with Versamark ink. Layered with Basic Black card stock and popped up with Dimensionals, an accent strip of Sweet Soiree Designer Paper, and a quick bow made with ribbon from the Clearance Rack, the card is finished! I’d say that free stamps and clearance ribbon qualify for a savvy card!
It’s fun to mix and match stamp sets, and they like to play with each other, too! Coloring left me relaxed and happy. My lonely ink pads no longer feel neglected. And a heartfelt, handmade card is ready to send. All in all, a good day! Hope you find a little creative time in your day today!
