Happy October! Ready to get a jump start on your holiday shopping? I’ve got three Christmas gift ideas that are NOT just for your crafty friends and family. And guess what? They’re on sale this week (along with lots of other stuff)!
Let’s talk Stampin’ Up! CARD KITS!
Consider friends and family you wouldn’t think of as crafty types They just may be the ones who will enjoy them the most. Stick with me until you read the short story below*** , as well as GIFT IDEA #2!
Gift the kits for them to complete.
***One of my customers recently bought several kits and gifted them to friends and family. She called to tell me they were a HIT… especially with the non-crafters (only 1 person had even stamped before). The idea that they could make the cards themselves and everything was there for them- including step-by-step directions with photos to follow- thrilled them. They felt so accomplished! It proves everyone has some creativity in them, just waiting to be expressed!
This is a great ALL-OCCASION SET covering birthdays, congratulations, thanks, miss you, love you and misc. general sentiments. Includes a 15-piece photopolymer stamp set and clear block, ink, embellishments, cards and envelopes. Makes 20 cards, 2 each of 10 designs in various sizes. Very popular! (completed cards in photo above)
This beautiful kit makes it easy to send heartfelt NOTES OF THANKS. Includes a 6-piece photopolymer stamp set and clear block, ink, embellishments, and 20 (3-1/2″ x 5″) cards with envelopes; 5 each of 4 designs. GREAT for after-holiday (or anytime) thank you cards!
Here’s what the cards look like completed…
Know someone that likes to color? This is the kit for them! Includes watercolor pencils, 7-piece photopolymer stamp set and clear block, ink, embellishments, cards and envelopes to create 20 cards, 4 each of 5 designs in various sizes.
I had a class full of happy campers when we made this kit together. I recommend adding either Blender Pens or the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush for even more fun. They enable you to blend the colors and get a true watercolor look that’s relaxing and satisfying!
Here’s a look at a set of finished cards. Aren’t they beautiful!?
You make the cards and gift them a completed set. This is what we did in class. Each person made one card of each design (from the Lots of Happy Kit above, but it works with any of them) and then we packaged the five cards in the Acetate Card Boxes to gift. Doing it this way allows you to create four gifts from one kit!
To dress up the card box, I embossed the front with the Lovely Floral Textured Impressions Embossing Folder in my Big Shot machine. A sweet bow was all that was needed to finish it off.
What do you think… are they great Christmas gift ideas???
The above kits are just part of this special sale. Now’s also a great time to stock up on some essentials! Here’s all the items on sale through Saturday, October 7, 2018…
