EASTER LILIES Sympathy Card

Happy creative day, crafty friend!

This week, craft along with me as we play with two new spring bundle favorites EASTER LILIES and GARDEN MEADOW, along with a few other goodies from the Stampin’ Up! Spring 2024 Release!

Let’s create a stunning card by coordinating these savvulous products!

WANT TO MAKE THIS? YOU CAN!

Here’s a look at all the pieces used in the card (photo below)… once they’re prepped, assembly is easy!

INSTRUCTIONS & MEASUREMENTS

• PRETTY PEACOCK CARDSTOCK
  • Card Base: 4-1/4″ x 11″; score and fold on long side at 5-1/2″
  • Layer: 4″ x 5-1/4″
    • Emboss with BASICS 3D Embossing Folder (you can see in the photo above that only the top portion is embossed (the designer paper covers the bottom)… it doesn’t matter if you partially or completely emboss the panel, you choose!)
• FOREVER LOVE SPECIALTY DESIGNER SERIES PAPER
  • 4″ x 2-1/4″; adhere to Pretty Peacock layer
• PRETTY PEACOCK & GOLD 3/8″ METALLIC RIBBON
  • Wrap 5″ around above layer to accent seam between embossing and designer paper; secure ends on back and adhere layer to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals

FLOWER TIPS!

• BASIC WHITE CARDSTOCK
  • Die-cut one flower and both leaves with EASTER LILIES Dies (see pieces in photo above)
    • Add color to the base of each flower section with a Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Marker and color each leaf with Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo
      • Alternate Ideas: Ink blend color on with the Small Blending Brush or Sponge Dauber and Classic Ink or simply cut with cardstock in any coordinating color
    • Press stamen die-cut on Versamark ink pad to coat one side with ink, sprinkle with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and melt with Heat Tool on High (the tool in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit will help hold this tiny piece -and protect your fingers- while melting the powder!)
  • Assemble Flower (see order in photo below)

ARCHED ACCENT!

• LOST LAGOON CARDSTOCK
  • Die-cut arch with GARDEN MEADOW Dies
  • Rub anti-static powder over lower third of die-cut, stamp sentiment from EASTER LILIES with Versamark ink, sprinkle with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and melt with Heat Tool on High
  • Adhere to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals
  • Adhere flower… done!
