Embossed Letterpress Tropical Chic Cards

Have you fallen for the Tropical Chic bundle yet? I have! It’s proven even more versatile than anticipated and produces such lovely projects. (Miss Monday’s Tropical Escape Cards? See them HERE). Today I’m sharing a fun technique that I’m calling Embossed Letterpress. It combines stamping with die-embossing and this Bundle is perfect for the technique! All is explained in the video tutorial later in the post 🙂

 It’s a little difficult to capture the textured surface of the card on camera, but give it a good look. See the embossing over the stamped image??? Some of the coordinating Thinlits dies mirror the stamp almost exactly, so when used for embossing (instead of cutting), you produce an embossed letterpress effect. It’s absolutely lovely in person and creates a “WOW” effect!
