Healing Hugs Diagonal Slash Cards
So happy you’re here! Today I’m back with more diagonal slash card ideas featuring the HEALING HUGS stamp set and Subtles Color Collection for lovely color-matched monochromatic cards. These follow this week’s Card Sketch Blueprint #109 Tutorial. If you missed the Needlepoint Nook diagonal slash cards from Monday, see them HERE.
The Clearance Rack was refreshed yesterday with lots of goodies up to 70% off. They’re going fast, so hurry if you want to take advantage of these great deals!
This lovely stamp set will be carrying over into the new 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog as a cling stamp. All red rubber stamps will feature the new Cling-Mount Labels that stick like CRAZY to your clear blocks and Stamparatus… a huge improvement! No more wood or clear-mount as we’ve known them.

Notice the top left rose is darker? That’s the first stamping; the lower right one was stamped a second time without re-inking. The DistINKtive stamps tend to show more details with less ink. The cards above are slightly different. They are only 4″ wide (instead of the normal A2 width of 4-1/4″) so that the rose and leaves extend off the card and still fit the envelope. They feature the color ‘Balmy Blue’ with the top left leaves stamped with Soft Sea Foam ink and the lower right in Garden Green ink. Add a touch of shimmer by punching Sparkle Glimmer Paper with the Sprig Punch and tucking them under the rose.
The sentiments are:
Kelly shows off her ‘So Saffron’ cards made at our recent April Paper Hugs class. Both sentiments can be found in the NEEDLE & THREAD polymer stamp set. Notice she changed the angle on one of her cards? It’s easy to do: simply flip the DSP over!
