I’m in love with these Party Pandas! They’re not only ADORABLE, they make creating fun and EASY for this simple birthday card! And the stamp set’s also FREE during Sale-A-Bration!!! Does it get any better???

Coupled with the super popular Painted with Love Specialty Designer Paper (from the new Occasions catalog), you can make this card in minutes! Mr. Party Panda’s ready for fun while the Designer Paper does all the work! Can I make a confession? I really struggled to use this side of the double-sided paper! The beautiful gold foil that makes this a specialty paper is hidden! Choosing was sooo tough! Anyone else struggle with this???

Simple Stampin’

Now I have to say, the stamping couldn’t be any easier and I only used one ink pad! ONE! Archival Basic Black ink provides the intense, deep black that makes this panda POP! Yes, there is a huge difference in quality of inks out there… even (or especially) with black! In fact here’s a bit of trivia for you: I became a Demonstrator for Stampin’ Up! because their ink pads (among other things) are, in my opinion, THE best on the market!

Color Your Way

The only embellishment found on this card is the color on the balloon, which was done with my Rich Razzleberry combo Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. But, you could just as easily color yours with a blender pen and ink or watercolor pencils; Stampin’ Write Markers would work, too. Add a bit of shimmer with the Wink of Stella pen for a glittery party balloon! Use what you have!

Envelope Envy

Last, but by no means least, start the party by decorating the envelope; it’s the first thing you see! Washi Tape is one quick, easy-peasy solution… and one of my faves! I ADORE washi tape! SAVVY TIP: Use your bone folder to burnish it down, so it arrives securely in place after a tumble through the mail!
