My favorite thing to do each month is make the cards and Rewards Kits for those special customers who shop with me. Every card is crafted by me, with love and gratitude, in hopes it will be received with appreciation and joy! Everyone who shops with me gets a handmade card as my personal gift of thanks. It’s left unsigned to give, gift or keep as inspiration.
SHARE WHAT YOU LOVE SUITE
This month’s gift and Rewards Kit featured the beautiful SHARE WHAT YOU LOVE (SWYL) Suite of products. Tranquil Tide makes a great alternate color to those in the SWYL Cardstock Pack (it’s also one of my fave’s and seemed a great winter option). Here’s an early reminder: this color (and all the 2017-2019 In-Colors) will be retiring soon! Add ink, cardstock or embellishments in these colors to your next order and earn FREE Sale-A-Bration goodies!
All the cards (except one that I forgot!) got a spray of Frost White Shimmer Paint (from a Stampin’ Spritzer mixed with Isopropyl Alcohol) before being embossed with the LOVELY FLORAL Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder on the Big Shot machine. It does double duty helping you get a better embossed image and also matches the shimmer on the SWYL Specialty Designer Series Paper. Aren’t they pretty all laid out to dry?
After embossing, add a Pearlized Doily, then a 2″ square of DSP. Add a 4″ strip of matching Mini Ruffled Ribbon, then pop the sentiment (from the FREE Sale-A-Bration 2019 stamp set PART OF MY STORY) on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals (the Triple Banner Punch makes quick work of that tail). A few SWYL Artisan Pearls add the perfect touch of shimmery bling.
This card (above) was the one that I mistakenly forgot to spritz before embossing. I decided to finish it differently and make it a landscape format instead of portrait like all the others. Hate to say, but I love the cards with the spray and without! And in both formats! Hope that doesn’t sound wishy-washy!!
But I certainly would love to try this card in some of the other colors in this suite! Love it!!

Okay , I like the small piece of DSP tucked in ….and I guess I missed it ,but I did not realize that Tranquil Tide ribbon was so pretty . Thank you for such great close up pictures .
I bet that spritz effect is Much Prettier in hand than it is showing here. That also applies to Wink Of Stella (poor Stella ) Your card is perfect in color for winter .

It ties really nice, too and it’s in all the 2017-19 In-Colors (I’m going to miss them). And you said it well… photographing shimmer and shine never does it justice.
