Make This THOUGHTFUL EXPRESSIONS Card For Mother’s Day!
❤️ Happy crafty day! This week we’re making a Thoughtful Expressions card that’s perfect for Mother’s Day or other special occasion. It’s another* fun-fold that shows off the layering dies and beautiful images in this fabulous stamp & die bundle!

MEASUREMENTS & INSTRUCTIONS
Measurements are noted as width x length
CUT & PREP!
- BASIC WHITE THICK CARDSTOCK
- Card Base: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
- Score on long side at 4-1/4″; burnish fold with Bone Folder
- Card Base: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″
- BASIC WHITE CARDSTOCK (this is lighter weight than above for less bulk, but either can be used)
- Inside Z-Fold: 8″ x 5-1/4″
- Score on long side at 4″ and 6″. Fold into Z and burnish each with Bone Folder (see photo below)
- Adhere inside card base, with Z-fold opening on RIGHT
- Die-cuts: scrap
- Front Sentiment Label: Stamp sentiment from Thoughtful Expressions Bundle with Basic Gray Classic Ink; die-cut on Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with fourth-largest layering die.
- Optional: Color edge with Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends Marker
- Inside Sentiment Label: Cut another piece with largest die in layering set; stamp images and color, as desired. [Shown: Bubble Bath & Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers].
- Letters: Color small area with dark Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends Marker (or use Bubble Bath Cardstock, shown); die-cut ‘M – O – M’ with Mini Alphabet Dies. Adhere letters to above inside sentiment panel to spell MOM (see fourth photo below)
- Front Sentiment Label: Stamp sentiment from Thoughtful Expressions Bundle with Basic Gray Classic Ink; die-cut on Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with fourth-largest layering die.
- Inside Z-Fold: 8″ x 5-1/4″
- POETIC EXPRESSION DESIGNER SERIES PAPER – Choose 3 Coordinating Patterns
- Pattern 1 (Card Base-Front): 4″ x 5-1/2″; adhere centered. Die-cut with 3rd largest die from Thoughtful Expressions Bundle (see photo above)
- Pattern 2 (Inside Z-fold): 1-3/4″ x 5″; adhere to top fold (photo below)
- Pattern 3 (inside panel): 3-3/4″ x 5″; adhere to inside, center section
SAVVY ASSEMBLY TIPS!
- Close card base over (closed) inside Z-fold; apply adhesive through the die-cut opening, to top fold on right (see photo below). Align die-cut in window and press into adhesive; allow to dry.
- Adhere front sentiment label, centered, with Stampin’ Dimensionals (second photo below)
EMBELLISH!
- Adhere Pastel Adhesive-Backed Sequins [gold] to flower centers on inside sentiment
- Adhere Brushed Brass Butterflies to front sentiment panel
- Tie 6-8″ 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon Combo [Bubble Bath] into square knot through window; trim ends. Secure knot in place with Mini Glue Dot… done!
