To create today’s card, follow the Card Sketch Tutorial, except use the RECTANGLE STITCHED Framelits Dies to create the layers. That sentiment is from the DETAILED WITH LOVE Stamps and die-cut with the STITCHED SHAPES Framelits Dies.

LOOK WHO’S RETIRING!

It’s not me?! I announced in this week’s newsletter some surprising news about two beloved tools that are retiring. I want to share a little more for those that want to be “in the know”! I’ve also included the full list of items with price increases coming. They’re modest, with the highest being a wee little $1, but if you want to save, now’s your chance. Look close and get a sneak peek at the names of several NEW products coming June 4th, including the 2019-2021 In-Colors! Don’t want to wait, become a demonstrator!

Stampin’ Trimmer Retiring! Due to ongoing challenges with the supplier, Stampin’ Up! has opted to retire the Stampin’ Trimmer when this catalog ends June 3rd and introduce a new, improved product in the future (date unknown). While the trimmer itself is the best on the market, the cutting blades have been troublesome. Most are great, but some are duds- causing everyone frustration- NOT what any of us wants! After exhaustive efforts to resolve this issue, Stampin’ Up! just didn’t feel the solution was up to their standards. Time to say goodbye to this beloved friend! During the transition period, we want you be able to continue using your Trimmer, so I encourage you to get replacement accessories NOW… enough to tide you over!

Supplies are limited to stock on hand and will go very FAST!

  • There is currently a 3 package limit on Cutting Blades; it will change to 6 per order on Monday/15th. {NOTE: There are 2 blades per package. Cutting Blades will continue to be available through September, on a limited basis}
BIG SHOT Machine Retiring! In order to be more responsive to their customers, Stampin’ Up! is ending their long-term relationship with Ellison/Sizzix and moving to a new direct-to-manufacturer relationship for dies and embossing folders. This is great news! Instead of relying on a middleman, we’ll have greater flexibility to offer you what you want… a win-win for everyone!

Rest assured, coordinating dies and embossing folders are here to stay and will be compatible with the Big Shot! A new die-cutting machine is in the works, but it may be a bit before we see it. Meanwhile, if you want any of the Stampin’ Up! exclusive accessories, NOW is the time to order. Since this was announced two days ago, cutting plates have already sold out. Don’t panic though, these are readily available at big box craft stores and online (Amazon for instance).
