Simple Handmade Thank You Card Designs

Today I’m showcasing one of my favorite simple handmade Thank You card designs. It’s versatile and easily adaptable with your favorite Designer Paper. Add quick and easy to it’s features and you’ll see why it just may become one of your own favorites! Lots of examples to see….

It starts with a 3″ x 3″ square of Designer Paper on a Note Card. Add a circle of coordinating cardstock and a sentiment- that’s it! It works for both 6″ x 6″ AND 12″ x 12″ DSP, leaving no waste… make as many as you need from a single sheet.

Make the above card with the following products (items in red are retiring Jan. 2, 2019)

The above cards were a gift I made for a sweet friend. Substitute the (now retired) Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper, Gray Granite Cardstock and Merry Merlot Classic Stampin’ Pad for similar items in the first card. Tie it together with the Very Vanilla/Copper Ribbon from the Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack and it’s ready to give someone special!

BONUS IDEAS

Now I’ve got several examples from earlier this year (above and below). See how easy it is to adapt? Instead of the Big Shot machine, the sentiments are cut with a circle punch (sized to the sentiment) to make this design even easier and quicker to make!

While the DSP and two of the three stamps in the above cards are now retired,  you can still get the “here’s to CELEBRATING you!” stamp in the popular Perennial Birthday stamp set. (Click the photo above to see the original post).

Here’s another example using the Detailed With Love stamp set (and retired Tutti Frutti DSP). For this card (and the previous photo, too), the cardstock layer behind the DSP is 3-1/4″ x 3-1/4″. (Click the photo above to see the original post with a tutorial on how to create that two-colored sentiment.)

Last one! These cards (above) feature the Petal Palette Stamps & Petals & More Thinlits Dies (with now retired DSP).  Instead of circles, the sentiments were cut with the coordinating dies. For tips on stamping on DSP, click the above photo to see the original post.)

LAST CHANCE PRODUCTS!

Reminder; Order your favorite Holiday Catalog products before they retire on January 2, 2019. A handful of items are carrying over into next year’s Annual Catalog, but NOT the bundle savings- take advantage of them NOW!
