Wine Bottle Tag Tutorial

This is an easy and simple project to make, coming together in less than 15 minutes!
Items in red are retiring on January 2, 2019

  • On Stampin’ Trimmer, cut Cherry Cobbler Cardstock 2-1/2″ X 8-1/2″; with Paper Snips cut end into banner (see easy-peasy method HERE)
  • On Stampin’ Trimmer, score 2″ from opposite end; punch hole (centered) with 1-1/2″ Circle Punch. Round corners with Detailed Trio Punch
  • Stamp front with Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin’ Pad using images from Warm Hearted stamp set. 
  • On Whisper White Cardstock, stamp sentiment from Warm Hearted stamp set  with Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin’ Pad. On Big Shot machine, die-cut with Stitched Shapes Framelits. Die-cut scalloped oval with Layering Ovals Framelits from Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper (copper); layer under above and adhere with Glue Dots.
  • On another piece of Whisper White Cardstock, stamp 2-0-1-9 from Make A Difference stamp set; punch each number with 1/2″ Circle Punch.
  • Place tag on wine bottle. Wrap 16″ of Very Vanilla/Copper Ribbon from Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack around neck and drape over tag. Cross it in the center and secure to tag with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Add a couple more to back of sentiment and place on top.
  • Adhere numbers on ribbon with Glue Dots. With same ribbon, tie a separate bow and add on top with a Glue Dot. That’s it!

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas yesterday! We enjoyed the day with two of our three kids and their families, eating, playing, opening gifts and just enjoying time together. One of my grands got a face painting kit- BIG hit, too FUN! Whether it’s paper or paint, it feels so good to PLAY! Am I right, stampin’ friends???
