BIRD BALLAD Laser Cut Cards

Oh, these cards! The front has been laser-cut into this beautifully detailed pattern, creating a peek-a-boo effect. This means you can customize them to your heart’s content. Here’s a peek at what they look like when you get them…

For the card’s shared yesterday and today, I’m stepping up the mood by adding color behind the laser-cut front. I’ve adhered a 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ panel of Pool Party Cardstock to the back of the laser-cut front. Start here before moving on to the other instructions.

SAVVY TIP: Before adhering the above panel, snip out the center piece at the eight connection points. The main sentiment panel you’ll be adding hides the center of this laser-cut detail, so you’ll never know it’s missing. Save it for an upcoming bonus project I’ll be sharing. Two projects from one card: savvy!

Card 4 Tutorial

Stamp the main image on Very Vanilla Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink
- Color with Stampin’ Blends markers of your choice; my choices are…
  - Birds: Pool Party Combo, Bermuda Bay Light and Daffodil Delight Combo
  - Tree Branch: Soft Suede and Old Olive Combos
  - Flowers: Calypso Coral Combo
  - Wink of Stella Clear Shimmer was added to flowers
- Die-cut on your machine with the largest STITCHED SHAPES circle die
- Stamp sentiment (The Stamparatus is THE tool to have for mistake-proof stamping!)
- Adhere to card with Glue or SNAIL Adhesive
Stamp large flower and leaves on Very Vanilla Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink
- Trim with Paper Snips
- Adhere leaves to card with Glue or SNAIL Adhesive
- Tie 4″ of Lace Ribbon in loose knot and adhere over leaves with a Mini Glue Dot
- Adhere flower over Lace Ribbon knot with a Mini Glue Dot; add a Pearl Basic Jewel in center
