Needle and Thread Friend Card for Laura-
Hi friends! So glad you’re back for the last of the note cards I’ve been sharing all week. It’s been so fun and I’m glad to have built my stash back up. I hope you’re doing the same!
Today’s card is for Laura, a sweet friend who just celebrated a milestone anniversary as a demonstrator on my team (I just love celebrating their accomplishments)! It features one of my favorite new stamp sets (and dies). I HIGHLY recommend the BUNDLE on this one!
The Needle & Thread Stamps are one of the new photopolymer DistINKtive style stamps that create photo-realistic stamped images- in this case embroidered flowers and leaves! Not only are the images wonderful, the sentiments are fabulous!

NOTE: You’ll find the ‘Happy Anniversary’ sentiment in the ITTY BITTY GREETINGS Stamp Set (a 32-sentiment set that covers just about any occasion you’ll need!)
These cards differ a bit from the others I’ve shared this week. They have all featured the ready-made Note Cards & Envelopes, where today’s project is a create-your-own card base (I have used the envelope from the set though). I like to think of it as a stepped up Note Card or hybrid: a greeting card in fun note card size!
Those scrummy colors are from the 2017-2019 In-Color Collection. They’re designed to all work together for easy-peasy creativity! WARNING: Everything in these colors (ink, cardstock & embellishments) will be retiring soon! Put them on your next order and earn FREE Sale-A-Bration rewards NOW!
Here’s an alternate card (above), made as a Thank You. The design works equally well for the “Get Well Soon” or “Happiest Birthday To You” sentiments. Gotta love the versatility of this set!
See those adorable wood elements? They’re the BUTTERFLY ELEMENTS you can earn FREE as a Sale-A-Bration Reward for your $50 order. They make great 3D accents that can be used as-is, colored or even in conjunction with the BUTTERFLY GALA Bundle that I shared HERE.
If you really like a deal, become a Demonstrator and join my team!
SAVVY TIP: The DistINKtive photopolymer stamps can best be described as having an etched surface that I’ve discovered are not conducive to juicy ink pads; over-inking tends to blur the image. Unfortunately for me (or fortunate for you!), I recently re-inked all my older pads- so everything I have is now juicy! My solution was to apply the ink on the stamp with a Sponge Dauber, instead of directly from the pad. If you experience the same (especially from newer pads), give this a try!

Thanks for joining me today! I’ve shared 13 different note card options this week, so which was your favorite? Today’s Needle & Thread friend card, yesterday’s Needlepoint Elements cards, Wednesday’s Butterfly Gala cards, or Monday and Tuesday’s embossed cards??? Please, leave me a comment- I’d love to know!❤
Tammy, I just discovered your blog! Your work is beautiful and will serve as much inspiration. I love what you’ve done with this card, but what fascinates me the most is the way you’ve used that Washi Tape! I have that tape but have not used it. The way the color shows through is awesome. I’m going to have to put mine to use! Thank you for sharing your terrific ideas and creativity!
Hi pal! Your sweet comments are so appreciated- glad you found some new inspiration! Have fun playing with your washi tape- I LOVE the stuff! I
hoardcollect it! My favorite use is sealing envelopes, but I also use it to mark my tools and as accents in lieu of DSP (like in this card). Fun, fun, fun! Thanks for visiting- loved hearing from you, Karen!:)T his has been fun this week . I have enjoyed your Note Card Event !! I have everything except that Needle and Thread set . Since you have displayed your creations so close so we could see the beauty of the set ….well, I guess I have to get it !!
And of course I adore GINGHAM too ….SIS !!
