Sweet & Simple Mother’s Day Card Idea
Hi friends! With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I thought I’d share a sweet and simple card I made for my step-mom with this week’s Card Sketch Tutorial and the Needlepoint Nook Suite. This is a perfect example for why Designer Paper is your friend… it self-coordinates and looks stunning… which in turn makes *YOU* look good! Win-Win?
NEEDLEPOINT NOOK Suite
This suite is on the LAST CHANCE Retiring List, available while supplies last. This Needlepoint Nook Designer Paper is perfect for Mother’s Day, as well as lovely spring and summer cards. Pair it with the NEEDLE & THREAD Stamp & Die Bundle, Needlepoint Nook Mini Buttons, Old Olive Linen Thread and Needlepoint Nook Cardstock Pack to create beautiful coordinated, color-matched projects with ease.
Look closely (photo below) and you’ll see the mini-buttons in the center of select flowers. They’re the perfect embellishment for this suite (Mini Glue Dots are the perfect easy-peasy adhesive)! The sentiment is found in the ITTY BITTY GREETINGS stamp set (a great set that covers virtually every occasion you can think of). Stamp it with Balmy Blue ink on the same color cardstock, then die-cut and adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Here’s another card (below) featuring the birthday sentiment from the NEEDLE & THREAD Bundle. It’s easy to switch greetings to fit your needs!
