BIRD BALLAD Cards – #7 & 8

Hi friends! We’re nearing the end of the BIRD BALLAD Cards I’ve been featuring; today completes the monochromatic design!

I’m wrapping it up tomorrow with a grand finale video tutorial showcasing a fun coloring technique using Stamping Sponges and DIY Shimmer Mist to create stunning all-purpose note cards. I hope you will join me for lots of savvy tips and how-to details!

BIRD BALLAD Cards – #11

4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ Very Vanilla Cardstock spritzed with DIY Shimmer Spray*, adhered behind Laser-Cut panel
Sentiment is found in ITTY BITTY GREETINGS, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock and die-cut with second largest hexagon in STITCHED NESTED LABELS Dies and embossed with the SUBTLE 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere centered to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals
Images colored with Stampin’ Blends Combo Markers…
- Branch/Leaves: Soft Suede and Old Olive
- Flowers: Petal Pink
- Birds: Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Ivory & Petal Pink with Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on their belly
Slip a Bird Ballad Trinket on a 4″ piece of Scalloped Lace Trim and tie in a loose knot; adhere with a Mini Glue Dot over stamped, colored and fussy-cut flowers

Sentiment is found in ITTY BITTY GREETINGS Stamps, stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock and die-cut with second largest hexagon in STITCHED NESTED LABELS Dies and embossed with the SUBTLE 3D Embossing Folder. Color the outside edge with the Ivory Stampin’ Blends Marker. Adhere centered to card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Stamp large & small flower and leaflet once each, color and fussy-cut with Paper Snips. Adhere smallest flower with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional
Loosely tie a knot in a 4″piece of Scalloped Lace Trim; adhere with a Mini Glue Dot
